My Own War 04:02
The wonders of this life, and all that I will never know. The end result, a product of the world that swallowed me whole, now poses no threat. Removing myself from a life so bitter, dreaming in black and white, and I can faintly remember you saying my name as your silhouette burned. Tonight the worlds losing and now these words hold no meaning, forming a shell of a former person that's freezing, numb and void. Our breath turned blue, and as the painting began to crack, I fell to the ground while you left it forever But in my defense, the leaves wilted in my palm, and this became clear through the after taste of your tarred remains. And I tell myself as I close my eyes tomorrow will be a better day, this false life we portray furthers my notion of hate. This is my own war, and no one will win.

A moments lapse of self control, sit back and enjoy the cheapest excuse of life, no ground will be gained in such a complacent mind Now you will see How it's always been Now you will see How it's always been Through this life Day by day Spite builds up Smile now as the world decays Accept this place For what it is It's freezing now And our lives Remain the same And as the world begins to drown, not a thought nor care will be found. Incisions begin to amass in the minds of those succumbing to the years that pass. A means for discontent will be replicated through the course of this malice. And I can't help but imagine how their isn't enough ways for you to suffer. Time corrupts all, and yet you feel comfort in despair. The void fuses with the abyss and as the darkness consumes all we could only dream of a life so perfect.
